The course introduces students to basics of parliamentary debate and public speaking, with students engaging in speaking exercises and formalized debates.

Fun, low-pressure chess instruction and play in a controlled scholastic environment. Interactive lessons, taught by U.S. Chess Federation experienced adult chess teacher. Supplies and services provided by Snow’s Chess Academy.

STEAM Exploration projects is filled with engaging activities to spark an interest in students and teach critical thinking. Projects include “Make & Take Home Robotics/Science/Engineering,” “LEGO Robotics (Construction & Programming),” and “Math-e-Magicians.”

3-2-1…Swish! Join us for Fast Break Basketball where we’ll “cross-over” between GAME PLAY and skills stations. The games within the game are where we will expose players to HOOPS skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense. Test your abilities having fun scrimmaging or playing games, while learning the fundamentals of Basketball and the concepts of team work.

STEM exCEL Robotics is designed for students looking to get started with robotics, and who are possibly interested in learning competitive robotics. In this course, students learn how to design, build, and program Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots by constructing and programming a robot. These engineering, design and programming concepts serve as a great stepping stone for students that have an interest in competing in robotics competitions such as First Lego League (FLL).
